- 1 (7-ounce) package jellyrolls
- 1 (3-1/2-ounce) package vanilla instant pudding mix
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 3 cups frozen whipped topping, thawed and divided
- 2 cups sliced fresh strawberries (see Note)
Preparation
Step 1
Cut each jellyroll crosswise into 3 slices; arrange slices cut side down on bottom and around sides of a 2-1/2-quart souffle or trifle dish. Fill in with remaining jellyroll slices. Fold in 1 cup whipped topping.
Arrange half of sliced strawberries over jellyroll slices; top with pudding mixture. Arrange remaining sliced strawberries over pudding mixture; dollop remaining 2 cups whipped topping over pudding mixture.
Notes:
To prevent strawberries from becoming mushy, wash them just before using and hull them after washing.
