Ingredients
- 1 c flour
- 1/3 c light brown sugar
- 5 T butter
- 1/2 c chopped pecans or walnuts
- 1 8 oz pkg softened cream cheese
- 3/4 c sugar
- 1/2 c canned pumpkin
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1 1/2 t cinnamon
- 1 t allspice
- 1 t vanilla extract
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350.
In medium bowl, combine flour and brown sugar. Cut in butter. Stir in nuts. Set aside 3/4 c mixture for topping.
Press remaining mix into bottom of 8x8 pan. Bake for 15 minutes. Cool slightly.
In large bowl, combine remaining ingredients, blend until smooth. Pour over baked crust. Sprinkle with reserved topping.
Bake 35-40 minutes or until slightly firm. Cool. Cut into 1 inch or 2 inch bars.
