Ingredients

  • 1/2 pd. fresh green beans
  • (I use frozen and just microwave them and the carrots a little before putting in skillet)
  • 2 carrots, cut into thick strips
  • 1/4 cup butter (I use olive oil but I do not think it would equal up to 1/4 cup. It is according to how many green beans you are using)
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1/2 pd. fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt ( I have not used this or the garlic salt on it yet)
  • 1/4 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Place green beans and carrots in 1 inch of boiling water. Cover and cook until tender but still firm. Drain.
Melt butter ( I use olive oil) over medium heat. Saute onions and mushrooms until almost tender. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 3 minutes. Stir in green beans, carrots, slat, seasoned salt, garlic, and pepper. Cover and cook for 5 minutes over medium heat.

I never measure this out I just put the amount of vegetables that look like it would be the right amount for the size needed for the meal.
