Fruity Cheese Spread

Ingredients

  • 2 pkgs. (8 oz. each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 pkg. (4-serving size) Jell-O, any flavor
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • Assorted fresh fruit, cookies and crackers

Preparation

Step 1

Beat cream cheese in large bowl until smooth. Beat in gelatin until well blended. Form mixture into 5-inch round. Cover with plastic wrap. Chill about 1 hour.

Remove plastic wrap. Press pecans gently around edges of cheese round. Serve with fruit, cookies and crackers.

Note: Cheese round may be made 2 days ahead and refrigerated; let stand at room temperature 15 minutes before serving.
