Measuring Tips:

Dry ingredients like flour and sugar should be measured in dry measuring cups, not in liquid cups.

Although they both hold the same volume, a liquid measuring cup does not allow you to level the surface of the contents to get an exact measurement.

You can measure liquids in a dry measuring cup, but it is difficult to fill it to the rim and decant without spills.
