Sol Fish in Sauce

  • Sauce:
  • 3/4 kg Sol fish fillet
  • 1 pkg frozen vegetables
  • 2 onions, chopped and sautéed
  • 50 g margarine
  • 2 T flour
  • 2 c milk
  • Nutmeg
  • Salt
  • 100 g salty cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Cook vegetables in salt water and drain. Sauté vegetable for a few minutes with onion. Add spices. Wash fish and let marinate in lemon and crushed garlic for ½ hr.

Sauce:
Melt margarine, remove from heat, and mix with flour. Add milk and return to heat. Once the milk boils, mix well, add salt and nutmeg and cheese.
Spread an “afili” sheet on baking pan and put a layer of the vegetables, then the fish. Bake for 25 min at 175°.
