Cinnamon sugar Phyllo Nests with Caramelized Pears

Ingredients
- saute in 2 T unsalted butter:

- 4-6 sheets phyllo (depending on their size
- 3 T unsalted butter, melted
- 3 T cinnamon sugar
- For the Pears
- Add
- 3 bosc pears, peled, cored and cut into wedges
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 3 T dark rum or apple juice
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- Pinch of salt
- Assemble nests with ice cream

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350; line a baking sheet with parchment paper
Prepare nests by stacking unbutered phyllo sheets on top of each other; roll into a log. Skice into 1/4" wide strips, place in a bowl, and fluff to separate the strnds. Divide strands into six mounds on the baking sheet, then drizzle each with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Bake 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown. CVarefully transfer nusts to a cooling rack.
Saute pears in butter in a sute pan over medium-high heat until caramelized on one side, about 5 minutes. Sprinkle with sugar and toss to coat. Add rum, lemon juice, and salt; over and simmer 9 minutes, or until pears are tender.
To assemble place nest on each serving plate, top with ice cream, then spoon the warm pears and suce over the top
