Dr. Rob’s Prostate Protective Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/2 cup of pomegranate juice
  • 4 ice cubes
  • 1/2 cup of blueberries
  • 1/2 cup of raspberries
  • 1/2 cup of strawberries
  • 1 scoop of blended protein powder…my favorite is Beverly UMP vanilla!
  • 1/4 tsp of green tea powder
  • 1/4 tsp of cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Add all ingredients to a blender, and blend until smooth.

NOTE:

7 foods to incorporate into a man's diet to decrease his risk of Prostate Cancer. Some of these foods in studies have been shown to decrease PSA levels by 50% in men with stage iv prostate cancer!

*Cruciferous Vegetables! One study found that men who ate broccoli or cauliflower lowered their odds of prostate cancer by 41%

*Tomatoes! A Harvard study demonstrated that men who ate tomato-based foods had a decreased risk of prostate cancer by 35%!

*Selenium! A Stanford University study revealed having 200mcg of selenium daily decreases the odds of having prostate cancer almost 5 fold!

*Citrus fruits and apples–modified citrus pectin! A diet rich in fruit and vegetables, which provide high fiber, has demonstrated in men to decrease the risk of Prostate Cancer!
