Ingredients
- 6 sheets phyllo dough
- 1 1/2 tbsp melted butter
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 pint strawberries, hulled and halved
- 2/3 cup heavy cream, whipped and lightly sweetened
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400 F and line a baking sheet with foil.
Work with one sheet at a time, keeping the rest of the phyllo under plastic wrap. Brush each sheet with a little melted butter. Sprinkle with 1/2 tsp of sugar, and lightly scrunch the sheet with your fingers, so it becomes crinkled. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Cool to room temperature.
Mix the berries with 1 tbsp of sugar and spoon over the phyllo. Top with whipped cream and serve immediately.
