Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 8 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla

Step 1
Mix all ingredients except butter and vanilla. Heat over medium heat until mixture thickens. Remove from heat. Stir in butter and vanilla. Refrigerate. Use to fill between layers of cake.
