Ingredients
- Glaze:
- 1 Cup Butter, softened
- 1 3/4 Cups Sugar
- 2 Eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- 2 Cups Flour
- 1 tsp. Baking Powder
- 1 tsp. Baking Soda
- 1 tsp. Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 2 Cups Chopped Apples
- 1/2 Cup Chopped Nuts
- 1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar
- 1 Tbs. Hot Water
- 1/4 tsp. Vanilla

Preparation
Step 1
In a large mixing bowl cream together butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Add to creamed mixture and mix until flour is moistened. Fold in apples and nuts. Spread into greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees or until done. Cool. To prepare glaze combine all ingredients and mix until smooth. Drizzle in a thin stream over top of cooled brownies, forming a woven pattern. Allow glaze to set before cutting into bars for serving.
