  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 med or large egg
  • 1 tbsp milk or cream
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg

Preparation

Step 1

Thoroughly cream butter by hand. Add sugar and mix until fluffy. Beat in the egg and then the milk. In a separate bowl mix together all dry ingredients. Stir them into the butter. Knead the dough for just a minute. Chill the dough. Prepare the molds by lightly putting oil and then the flour in them. Press the cookie dough into the mold. Then take the cookie out of the mold by slightly knocking it out. Then bake the cookies. You do not bake the cookies in the mold.Bake cookies for 10 -12 minutes or until edges brown at 350 degrees.
