Yorkshire Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk

Preparation

Step 1

1. Stir flour and salt together.
2. Beat eggs until thick and combine with milk.
3. Make a well in centre of flour and gradually stir in milk-egg mixture.
4. Beat with a rotary beater at low speed until batter is smooth for about 2 minutes.
5. Pour 2 tablespoons of butter into a muffin pan. Heat in oven until almost smoking hot, then pour batter in to 1/2 inch depth.
6. Bake in hot oven 450 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
7. Gradually lower temperature to 350 degrees for 15 minutes
