Tatertot casserole

Excellent and easy

Ingredients

• 1/2 C chopped onion
• 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup.
• 3 T sour cream
• 1 lbs onion tater tots
• 1/2 C water
• 2 T real bacon bits
• 2 C finely shredded Mexican style four cheese
• 1/4 t black pepper
• 1 T chives
• 2 slices Velveeta cheese cut into 1/4 " strips

Preparation

Step 1

Layer 9x9 greased casserole dish with frozen tater tots.
In a bowl, combine soup onion, sour cream, pepper, and water . stir until smooth. Pour evenly to cover tater tots. Smooth with back of spoon. Sprinkle with bacon bits and chives on top.Lay Velveeta strips in 2 rows 1" apart. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
Cover dish with aluminum foil. Bake 1/2 hour at 350 degrees. Remove foil and bake an additional. 1/2 hour
