Blueberry Sauce

  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 T. lemon juice
  • 4 c. fresh blueberries

Step 1

In a heavy saucepan, combine sugar, lemon juice and 2 cups blueberries. Bring to a boil. Cook and stir until thickened, about 10 minutes.Remove from the heat and cool for 15 minutes. Stir in remaining blueberries and let cool to room temperature. Serve over shortcake or ice cream.
