Ingredients

- 2 packed cups of kale or other green leafy vegetable (collards, spinach)
- 1 cup of unsweetened soy*/almond/rice/other milk
- 1 cup Green Tea
- 1 cup of blueberries (fresh or frozen)
- 1 cup of strawberries (fresh or frozen)
- 1 banana, peeled
- 1 orange, peeled and sectioned
- 2 Tablespoons cocoa powder
- 2 Tablespoons of ground flax seeds or chia seeds
- 3/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: 10-12 ice cubes
- To avoid GMO-containing versions of these items, use organic or non-GMO certified

Preparation
Step 1
In a high-powered blender, process the kale with the soy milk. Add in the green tea, the fruit, cocoa powder, flax seeds and spices. If a thinner consistency is desired add in water or soy*/almond/rice/other milk. For a cold, frosty shake add ice cubes. Pour into 2 glasses and serve immediately.
