Slow Cooker Chunky Monkey Lava Cake

I started out by referring to my popular recipe for Slow Cooker Chocolate Lava Cake , replaced the oil from the original recipe with the ripe bananas and increased the cooking time. The results were quite tasty, especially if you are banana lover or even a banana “liker” like me.

Ingredients

• 1 - Box Chocolate Cake mix
• 2 Eggs
• 4 Very Ripe Bananas, mashed
• 2 Cups Milk
• 1 - Box Chocolate Instant Pudding (4 serving size)
• 1 Cup Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips

Preparation

Step 1

Mix cake mix, eggs, and mashed bananas in mixing bowl.
Pour batter into a greased 2.5 quart slow cooker.
Next, whisk together pudding mix and milk. Pour over cake batter do not stir together.
Top with chocolate chips.
Cook on low 3-4 hours or until cake is cooked around edges. Center will be pudding like consistency. Top with ice cream. Serve warm.
