Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 cups whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup light rum
  • 2 tsps vanilla
  • 16 oz semi sweet chocolate,chopped
  • 16 oz milk chocolate,chopped
  • chopped nuts and sprinles
  • 1 9 inch tall foam cone
  • 70 about 70 toothpicks

Preparation

Step 1

Heat cream,sugar,salt and vanilla in medium saucepan over medium heat until sugar is dissolved..Remove from heat and add chocolates,stirring until melted.Pour into dish and refrigerate about 1 hour or until firm.

Shape half the mixture into 1 1/4 inch balls,shape the other half into 3/4 inch balls.Roll in nuts and sprinkles.Refrigerate until firm.

Cover cone with foil.Starting at bottom of cone,attach larger truffles with toothpicks.Use smaller truffles towards the top.Refrigerate until serving time.
