Candied Pecans

Ingredients

  • 4 cups pecan halves
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 large egg whites
  • 1/2 cup butter

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 325

Mix sugar and cinnamon together.
Beat egg white until frothy. Start adding sugar mixture a tbs. at a time until stiff.

Fold in pecans.

Pour 1/2 cup melted butter on jelly roll pan.

Stir every 10 minutes twice. Bake 30 minutes total

Pour on waxed paper until cool

Store in ziplock bag.
