Ingredients
- Crust:
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs (around 31 cookies)
- 5 T unsalted butter, melted
- Filling:
- 10 oz semisweet chocolate, chopped
- 1 8 oz pkg of cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar, divided
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 2 tsp vanilla
- Garnish:
- 2 T grated semisweet chocolate (about 1 oz)
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 325. Combine crust ingredients and press into bottom and up sides of a 9-inch pie pan. Bake 8 minutes; cool on wire rack.
Melt 10 oz chocolate, stirring until smooth. Beat cream cheese and 1/4 cup powdered sugar in large bowl until smooth. Beat in melted chocolate until blended.
Beat cream, remaining 1/4 cup powdered sugar, adn vanilla until firm but not stiff peaks form. Fold 1/2 of cream into chocolate mixture until blended; spread in crust. Spread remaining cream over filling. Sprinkle with grated chocolate. Refrigerate at least 4 hours before serving.
