Ingredients

  • 1 lb lard (tenderflake)

Preparation

Step 1

Break up and pour over 1 cup boiling water and 2 tsp salt. Whip with fork. Let cool.

Add 4 1/2 cups flour, 1 tsp baking powder. Cool For 1 hour in fridge. Makes 4-5 double crust pies.

Freezes well.
