Green Beans with Savory

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup water
  • 16 ounces frozen green beans, or 4 cups fresh cut
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon savory, (or parsley)

Preparation

Step 1

In 1 1/2-quart microwave-safe bowl, combine green beans; cover tightly. Microwave on High for 9 to 13 minutes until beans are tender-crisp; drain. Stir in margarine, lemon juice and savory. Microwave on High for 45 seconds to a minute until margarine is melted; stir.
