Texas Torte

Ingredients

  • 4 beaten eggs
  • 1 lb sharp cheddar, grated
  • 4 T flour
  • 1 lb Monterey Jack, grated
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 2 -4 oz cans chopped green chilies

Preparation

Step 1

To eggs add flour, salt & milk & beat well. Add remaining
ingredients and mix well. Pour into a flat, well-greased 8 x 12
inch Pyrex baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for approx.
35 min.
Cut into tiny squares & serve as a hot hors d’oeuvre or, can be
cut into larger portions & served as part of a brunch menu.
