Crescent Carmel Rolls - Barbie W.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter (Barbie used 3 tablespoons)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/8 cup maple syrup (use real not imitation)
  • 1 package crescent rolls: Do Not Unroll!
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • Cinnamon & sugar
  • 8 ” round pan

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter in pan at 375*. Remove pan and add brown sugar & maple syrup to melted butter. Mix together. Scatter nuts on top of mixture.
Slice crescent rolls into 8 pinwheels. Roll each pinwheel in a mixture of Cinnamon & white sugar.
Place rolls in pan and bake at 375* for approx. 17 min. until light golden brown
Remove & immediately turn upside down onto a plate.

If double, use a 9x13 pan
