Ingredients
- 2 Tablespoons yeast (mix with 1/2 c. warm water, pinch of sugar, pinch of flour and T. milk
- 1 cup lukewarm milk
- 1/2 cup mashed potatoes
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 5 cups flour

Preparation
Step 1
Scald milk. Add sugar, butter, salt and potatoes. Cool and add two eggs beaten and yeast mixture. Work in 5 cups bread flour (if needed, add flour until consistency is not sticky). Form and let rise.
