Cornflake Cookies

A great tasting No-Bake cookie

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup corn syrup
• 1/2 cup white sugar
• 1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
• 1/2 tsp. vanilla
• 3 cups cornflakes

Preparation

Step 1

Mix corn syrup and sugar in medium size saucepan. Bring mixture to a boil and continue to boil it for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in the peanut butter and vanilla. After mixing this together, add the cornflakes and mix together well. Working as quickly as possible, spoon out onto a cookie sheet in the sizes of cookies that you desire. These cookies set up quickly, which is why you need to work quickly. After the cookies have set up, you can drizzle melted chocolate over the top of each of them if you desire. But they are really good on their own without the chocolate as well.
