Whole Wheat Bread

Ingredients

  • 2 cups hot water
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup honey (may use 1/4 cup if too sweet)
  • 3 1/2 tsp instant yeast
  • 5 cups flour
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 T lecithin
  • 1/2 T gluten

Preparation

Step 1

Combine water, oil, and honey. Add 3 cups flour, yeast, salt, lecithin, and gluten. Mix thoroughly. Add remaining flour and knead until smooth and elastic (about 10 minutes). Let rise until double. Shape into loaves or rolls, place into greased pans, and let rise again. Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes.
