Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Butter
  • 1 1/2 Cups White Sugar
  • 2 Tbs. Milk
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 2 Cups Chopped Dates
  • 4 1/2 Cups Rice Krispies
  • 1 Cup Chopped Pecans
  • 2 tsp. Vanilla
  • 2 Cups Coconut, finely grated

Preparation

Step 1

In a sauce[an combine butter, sugar, milk, salt and dates and bring to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and cool slightly. Stir in vanilla, Rice Krispies and pecans. Shape into balls and roll into finely grated coconut. Arrange on ungreased cookie sheets and bake at 325 degrees for 6-8 minutes, just until coconut starts to brown.
