Snickerdoodles

Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 3/4 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking soda

Preparation

Step 1

Mix butter, sugar & eggs. Blend dry ingredients together, mix well into butter mixture. Roll into balls the size of walnuts. Roll each in a mixture of 2 T. sugar & 1 tsp. cinnamon. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes
