Chili Tots Casserole
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 cans chili w/o beans
- 1 can (8oz) tomato sauce
- 1 can (2.25oz) sliced ripe olives, drained
- 1 can (4oz) chopped green chilies
- 2 c shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 pkg (32oz) frozen tater tots
- diced onion
In large skillet, cook beef over medium heat along with diced onions. Stir in chili, tomato sauce, olives and chilies. Transfer to 2 greased 8x8 baking dishes. Sprinkle with cheese and top with tater tots.
Cover and freeze 1 casserole for up to 3 months.
Cover and bake remaining casserole at 350 for 35-40 minutes or til heated thru. Turn over to broiler for a minute or 2 before removing from oven.
TO USE FROZEN CASSEROLE: Remove from freezer 30 minutes before baking but do not thaw. Cover and bake at 350 for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours or til heated thru.
