Dry Rub Marinade

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt, coarse
  • 1 bay leaf, crumbled
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried sage, rubbed
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

In small bowl, combine all ingredients. To use: rub onto meat (pork roast, thin chops or cutlets, flank steak, roast beef, steak or lamb) 2 hours before cooking, using about 1 teaspoon per 12 ounces uncooked meat.
