Ingredients
- 1 - lb Butter
- 1 1/4 lb Crisco = 2 1/4 cups
- 3 1/4 lb powdered sugar
- 3/4 oz powdered egg whites - mix with 1/2 c water - strain into mixed p sugar and butter
- 3/4 t vanilla - I use 1 t
- 3/4 t. almond flav I use 1/2 t
- 2/3 c. cornstarch
Preparation
Step 1
Cream butter and Crisco, mix until fluffy. Add powdered sugar, cornstarch and strained powdered egg whites. Add flavoring to taste. Beat until good consistency. Watch to make sure there are no air bubbles. If there are the frosting will not be smooth.
