  • 1-2 lbs. stew meat
  • 3 or 4 large carrots, cut diagonal
  • 3 onions, chopped
  • 3 stalks celery, cut diagonal
  • 1 green pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 tablespoons minute tapioca
  • Potatoes optional
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 #2 can tomatoes
