Ingredients
- 1 pkg. ( 2 layer ) yellow cake mix
- 2 cups of cold milk
- 1 1/4 cups of water
- 2 pkg. ( 4- serving size ) lemon flavor instant pudding mix
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 2 Tbsp. powdered sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350. Prepare cake batter as directed on pkg.
Pour into greased 13 x 9 -inch baking pan. set aside.
Pour milk and water into large bowl. Add pudding mix and granulated sugar. Beat with whisk 2 mins until blended. Pour over cake batter. Place cake on cookie sheet to catch any cake that might bubble over.
Bake 55 mins to 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 20 mins. Sauce will thicken slightly when it cools. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Spoon into serving dishes to serve warm. Store leftovers in refrigerator.
