Ingredients
- 2-1/2 lbs peeled and cooked potatoes or container of refrigerated mashed potatoes
- 1-1/2 cups sour cream if using real potatoes
- Salt &pepper to taste
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 med sweet red pepper, diced
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can corn, drained
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 Tbls butter
Preparation
Step 1
In large bowl, mash potatoes with sour cream.Salt and pepper to taste. set aside
In large skillet, cook beef with onion and red pepper stir in garlic salt, soup, corn, and milk.
Spread meat mixture into 9x13 baking dish. Top with potatoes and drizzel with butter
Bake 350 for 30-35 minutes. For additional browning put under broiler for a few minutes
I used 1 lb hamburger+can of peas and some diced cauliflower and fresh green beans. Used refrigerated potatoes and baked in 8x8 dish. Used a little less soup and milk
