Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter (softened)
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1-1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2-3/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 TBS cinnamon
  • 2 TBS sugar

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400"

Beat butter, sugar & eggs thoroughly. Blend in flour, cream of tartar, baking soda & salt. Shape into small (1") balls.

Mix sugar and cinnamon together, coat balls in sugar, cinnamon mixture. Place cookies on cookie sheets, two inches apart.

Bake for 8-10 mins
