Ingredients

  • 1

    cup steel cut oats

  • 2

    teaspoons cinnamon

  • 2-3

    teaspoons pure vanilla extract or powder

  • 1/2

    teaspoon salt

  • 1/2

    cup dates, chopped

  • 4

    cups water

Directions

In a slow cooker, mix all the ingredients and the water together. Set it on low heat and cook overnight for 6-8 hours. In the morning, spoon into bowls and serve with a light sprinkling of cinnamon if desired.
