Salsa Chicken

A household favorite. You can use mild, medium, or hot salsa depending on your tastes. Serve it with Spanish rice and Mexican style canned corn. Very quick and easy

Ingredients

  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 4 tsp taco seasoning mix
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 Tbs sour cream optional

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375.
Place chicken breast in ziplock bag with taco seasoning and toss to cover.
Lightly grease a 9x13 pan. Pour a little salsa in bottom of pan. Add chicken breast and pour salsa over all.
Bake for 25-35 minutes.
Sprinkle chicken evenly with cheese, and continue baking for an additional 3-5 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Top with sour cream and serve.
