    cup chopped walnuts

    cup melted butter

  • Mix ingredients together and set aside.

    cups flour

  • 1/2

    tsp baking powder

  • 1/2

    tsp salt

    tsp soda

    tsp vanilla

    cups margarine

  • 2

    eggs

  • 1

    cup sour cream

  • 1

    cup white sugar

Directions

Mix flour, baking powder and salt, and set aside. Cream margarine and sugar, stir in sour cream and soda; add eggs and vanilla and beat well. Add flour mixture and blend well. Pour 1/2 the batter into a greased, square pan. Sprinkle 1/2 the topping over batter. Then repeat with the. remainder of the batter and cover with the. remaining topping. Bake for about 30 minutes or longer until done. When done, let cool and cut into 4 strips. Wrap individually and freeze. To serve, cut while still frozen and serve.
