Indian-Inspired Chicken Kabobs

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup KRAFT Original Barbecue Sauce
  • 3 Tbsp. lemon juice, divided
  • 1-1/2 tsp. curry powder
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp. ground red pepper (cayenne)
  • 1-1/2 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 red onion, cut into wedges
  • 1/2 cup BREAKSTONE'S Reduced Fat or KNUDSEN Light Sour Cream
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped peeled seeded cucumbers
  • 1 Tbsp. finely chopped fresh mint
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Preparation

Step 1

MIXbarbecue sauce, 2 Tbsp. lemon juice, curry, cumin and pepper; pour half over chicken in shallow dish. Stir. Refrigerate 20 min. to marinate.

HEATgrill to medium heat. Drain chicken; discard marinade. Thread chicken onto 6 skewers alternately with onions. Grill 8 to 10 min. or until chicken is done, turning occasionally and brushing with remaining barbecue sauce mixture.

COMBINEremaining lemon juice, sour cream, cucumbers, mint and garlic. Serve with kabobs.
