Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups crushed vanilla wafers
  • 2/3 cup butter
  • 2 squares unsweetened chocolate
  • 2 eggs separated
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 gallon peppermint ice cream

Step 1

Cover 9 x 13 pan with crumbs – melt butter and chocolate; add egg yolks, powdered sugar and vanilla to chocolate mixture and beat with a mixer. Beat egg whites and fold into this mixture. Add nuts. Spread over crumbs. Soften ice cream and cover chocolate mixture. Freeze.
