Pampered Chef Beef & Broccoli Stir-Fry

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 pounds beef top sirloin steak, cut about 1-inch thick
  • 3 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 medium red bell pepper
  • 1 medium yellow bell pepper
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 3 tablespoons Asian Seasoning Mix
  • 2 tablespoons Garlic-Infused Canola Oil (divided use)
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 3/4 cup beef broth
  • sliced green onions (optional)
  • Fresh snipped cilantro (optional)
  • chopped peanuts (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Cut steak in half lengthwise, then cut crosswise into 1/2-inch thick strips. Cut broccoli into small florets. Wedge onion then cut wedges in half lengthwise. Cut tops off bell peppers. Remove seeds and veins. Wedge peppers, cut wedges lengthwise into thin strips.

For marinade combine soy sauce, Asian Seasoning Mix, 1 tablespoon garlic oil, garlic cloves and cornstarch. Mix well. Add beef to marinade.

Heat 1 tablespoon garlic oil in skillet. Add marinaded beef and stir fry until outside of beef is no longer pink. Remove from skillet. Add vegetables to skillet and stir fry 3-4 minutes until crisp tender. Return beef to skillet. Add beef broth. Bring to boil; cook 1 minute.

Sprinkle with optional toppings and serve with hot cooked rice.
