Ingredients
- 2 T olive oil
- 2 large red onions, thinly slice
- 2 sprigs fresh thyme
- 1/2 t Kosher salt
- 1/4 t Pepper
- 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon dark brown sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add onions, thyme, 1/2 t salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the onions are golden and tender, 13 to 15 minutes. Stir in the vinegar and sugar. Serve warm or at room temperature.
