Ingredients
- 6 cups potatoes, peeled -- thinly slice
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups cooked ham, chopped
- 14 1/2 ounces tomatoes, canned, undrained, chopped
- 2 tablespoons light margarine
Preparation
Step 1
Lightly grease crock-pot (or slow cooker). Layer half of each ingredient in the order listed; repeat layers. Cover; cook on high setting 1 hour. Reduce to low setting; cook 5 to 6 hours or untill potatoes are tender. (Or just set on low for 8 to 10 hours. Thats what I do when I go to work.)
Conventional Directions: Heat oven to 350F. Lightly grease 3-quart casserole. Layer half of each ingredient in order listed. Repeat layers. Cover. Bake at 350F. for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until potatoes are tender. Stir before serving.
