Banana Sour Cream Bread

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon, ground
  • 3/4 c butter
  • 3 c sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 6 bananas, very ripe and mashed
  • 1 (16oz) container sour cream
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 tsp baking soda
  • 4 1/2 c all purpose flour
  • 1 c nuts

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 300*. Grease 4-3x7 baking pans. Stir together 1/4 c sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon. Dust pans with mixture.
In a large bowl, cream butter and 3 c sugar. Mix in eggs, mashed bananas, sour cream, vanilla, and cinnamon. Mix flour, soda, and salt. Stir nuts in. Add to bananas. Place in prepared pans.
Bake at 300* for 1 hour.
