Banana Sour Cream Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 yellow cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup mashed ripe banasa
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • Frosting
  • 1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup walnuts chopped

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350
Grease and flour 2 9 inch cound cake pans
.
Beat cake mix, eggs, bananas, sour cream and oil in large bowl with electric mixer on low speed just until moistened. Beat on medium for 2 minutes.Pour into pan.

Bake 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. cool in pan on wire rack.

Beat cream cheese and butter in a large bowl with electric mixer until well blended. Gradually add sugar, beating after each addition until well blended.

Remove cakes from pans. Frost top amd sides of cake with frosting. Carefully press walnuts into frosting on sides of cake.

Store any leftovers in refrigerator.
