Pulled Pork With Root Beer Sauce

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 to 3 lb. boneless pork sirloin roast
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 Tbs. oil
- 2 medium onions, cut into thin wedges
- 1 c. root beet
- 2 Tbs. minced garlic
- 2-12 oz. cans root beer
- 1 c. bottled chili sauce
- 6 dashes hot pepper sauce

Preparation
Step 1
Trim fat from meat. Sprinkle meat with the salt and pepper.
In skillet brown roast on all sides in hot oil. Transfer to slow cooker/
Add onions, the 1 cup root beer and garlic. Cover, cook on low setting for 8-10 hours.
Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan combine the 2 cans of root beer and bottled chili sauce. Bring to boiling.
Reduce heat and boil gently uncovered, stirring occasionally, about 30 min or until mixture is reduced to 2 cups.
Add hot sauce.
Shred roast and add sauce. Heat through
