Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 sticks unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup bourbon whiskey
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 6oz pkg chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- Hot Buttered Whiskey Glaze
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 cups confectioner's sugar
- 1/3 cup bourbon whiskey
- 1 tsp vanilla

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat ovent to 325 deg. Grease and flour 13 x 9 x 2" baking pan. Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Melt butter and add it to flour, along with brown sugar, eggs, whiskey and water. Pour butter into prepared pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and pecans. Bake 50-55 minutes or until center of cake is firm and edges begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool about 15 minutes, then drizzle with glaze.
Glaze:
Melt butter, whisk in confectioner's sugar, bourbon whiskey, vanilla and blend well.
