Beef Teriyaki Stir Fry

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (500 g) boneless beef sirloin grilling steak, cut into strips
  • 1 1/2 c. Beef Broth
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 3 cups fresh or frozen cut-up vegetables
  • 4 cups hot cooked rice

Preparation

Step 1

1. Heat large, non-stick skillet, lightly coated with vegetable oil cooking spray over medium-high heat. Cook beef 10 minutes or until browned. Set beef aside.
2. Stir in mixture of broth, cornstarch, soy sauce, brown sugar and garlic powder. Heat to a boil, stirring often. Return beef to skillet. Reduce heat; simmer 5 minutes. Stir in vegetables.
3. Simmer covered, until beef and vegetables are cooked through - about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve over rice.
