Caramel Corn (microwave)

  • 3 to 5 qt. popped corn
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1/4 c. cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. soda

Preparation

Step 1

Spray large brown grocery bag with Pam. Add popped corn. Mix brown sugar, oleo, corn syrup and salt and boil in the microwave for 2 minutes. Add soda and mix well. Pour over corn in bag. Close bag and shake. Cook for 1 1/2 minutes on high. Remove and shake. Cook 1/2 minute more on high. Remove. Shake. Cool.
